Visa today announced the official kickoff of the Visa Innovation Program Europe (VIPE) Nordics and Baltics Edition and made public the inaugural cohort of the eight high-potential fintech companies accepted to the program at the Nordic Banking Forum in Helsinki. 

The accepted companies were announced from the stage today by Visa at the Nordic Banking Forum. 

“The Nordics and Baltics are a global powerhouse of fintech innovation, driven by early digital adoption and exceptional talent,” said Philip Konopik, Group Country Manager Nordics and Baltics at Visa. “Launching the Visa Innovation Program here connects this vibrant ecosystem to Visa’s global network and resources. We are excited to announce the first cohort of fintechs, companies united by a strong focus on embedded payments, data-driven solutions, and scalable technologies designed to modernize B2B flows and enhance customer experiences, he said. 

The VIPE Nordics & Baltics program is a pilot-centered collaboration platform designed to accelerate digital innovation across Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. Over the six-month long program months, the selected fintechs will focus on executing Proof of Concept (PoC) pilots, innovation, partnerships and networking with Visa and its ecosystem partners, centered on modernizing the B2B money movement flows. 

Selected Fintechs for the 2025 Visa Innovation programme Nordics & Baltics Edition first cohort are: 

Beneflo (Latvia) Employee benefits platform simplifying global allowances for meals, transport, wellness, and education via Visa cards and app. https://beneflo.io

Enable Banking (Finland) Open banking infrastructure offering PSD2-compliant API access to 2,500+ banks across Europe for data and payments. https://enablebanking.com

Kardio (Iceland) Spend management platform integrating with banks for real-time expense control and collaborative financial workflows. https://kardio.is/

Juuli (Estonia) AI-powered banking platform for freelancers combining invoicing, tax, payments, and Visa card spending in one solution. https://www.juuli.com

Ledyer (Sweden) B2B payments and BNPL platform automating credit decisions and invoicing for seamless business purchasing. https://ledyer.com

Betalo (Sweden) Betalo is a licensed payment institute that enables invoice payments by credit cards to optimise cash flow and loyalty program advancement. https://www.betalo.com/en

Beep (Italy) AI-driven intelligence layer on banking data helping financial institutions deliver hyper-personalized services at scale. https://beep.finance

Myver (Denmark) Transforms payments into structured data with receipts, VAT, and CO₂ footprint for automated expense and ESG reporting. https://www.myver.io

The selected fintechs will receive access to Visa’s APIs through the Visa Developer Platform, global investment networks through Tenity, mentoring, and exploring partnership opportunities with regional banks and financial and non-financial institutions. The program is designed to accelerate the regional fintech sector, facilitating collaboration and bringing innovative solutions to market faster and more efficiently.  

In March 2026, the cohort will participate in Stockholm Fintech Week, joining dedicated networking sessions and investor matchmaking events. The program will conclude in May 2026 at the Baltic Fintech Days in RigaLatvia, where participating fintechs will showcase their results and business cases to an audience of regional investors, leading banks, and Visa executives.
