Peer to Peer Loans with Impact – Interview with Rasmus Camborda Meilvang CEO & Founder at Plata

The sharing economy has enabled us to share cars, scooters and even real estate. Now it can even empower us to share financial assets to lend and borrow money directly with each other without the need of a bank. In this interview we had the pleasure to speak with Rasmus Camborda Meilvang, CEO and Founder at Plata. Plata is a visionary company that is harnessing the power of the sharing economy to enable peer-to-peer loans, offering an alternative to traditional bank loans, consumer loans, credit card loans and overdrafts where people can lend money to each other at a reasonable interest rate and in a way that is easy to understand.

In this insightful interview we discuss the challenges of going after banks’ most profitable products, piercing through the banks’ perceived “monopoly on trust” and how to learn from the market when launching a new product.
