Dintero, a Norwegian payment solution provider, has partnered with Klarna to offer Klarna’s global shopping and payment services in its checkout. The partnership will give Dintero’s stores access to Klarna’s popular payment methods and growth solutions.
Dintero’s CEO, Daro Navaratnam, says the partnership will help the company’s growth outside Norway and strengthen its competitiveness globally. The fintech company, valued at NOK 500 million, has experienced three to four times growth over the past year and a half and launched its checkout solution in Sweden and Split Payment in Norway.
Klarna Country Manager for Norway, Geir Østby, sees potential in Dintero’s unique Split Payment solution, which splits payment among several sellers connected to a platform. With the integration of Klarna, customers will have access to Klarna’s payment solutions and a full overview of their purchases in the Klarna app.
Dintero will offer all of Klarna’s payment methods in its checkout, including immediate payment, invoice purchases, and partial payment, which will be covered by Klarna’s buyer protection. Dintero’s CEO says the collaboration will give customers the freedom of choice they want.
Popular platforms that use Dintero’s Split Payment solution today include Tidbit and Swash. The company already supports popular payment methods like card payment, Vipps, Swish, MobilePay, and Walley BNPL, and a survey of its business customers revealed a high demand for Klarna.
